Apex Legends Patch Notes Update

Season 9 of Apex Legends introduced a lot of changes to the Legend meta, so let's see how the tier list looks with the Legacy update.

Apex Legends Season 9: Legacy was released on May 4th, giving players a few months to acclimate to the new features and adjustments. With that stated, in our Apex Legends tier list for Legends, let's take a look at how the Legacy patch has altered the Legend meta for Apex Legends.

Apex Legends Season 9: Legacy introduced a slew of new features to the game, including Arenas, the Bocek Bow, Infested Olympus, and the return of World's Edge.

The Legacy patch included more than simply quality-of-life enhancements, weapon modifications, and bug fixes/improvements. Many of the Legends were also changed, which has changed the meta and tier list since Season 8.

We thought it'd be fun to combine the Legends and show off what we think the tier list in Apex Legends Season 9 looks like, demonstrating how much the patch notes have altered things.

Remember that this ranking is based on a Legend's battle royale performance, not Ranked Leagues or the new 3v3 Arenas format. If you want to learn more about Arenas, see our guide on the best Legends to employ in the new game.

Apex Legends Legacy's Best Legends

Valkyrie's offensive skills are both tactical and passive, allowing her to soar about and shock individuals while they try to flee or hide.

These skills are particularly useful when you're on the defense, allowing you to swiftly escape an unpleasant combat with the VTOL Jets and avoid being pushed by the Missile Swarm.

Furthermore, her ultimate Skyward Dive has surpassed Octane's Launch Pad as the finest rotation tool in the game. Valkyrie's passive allows her to scan and highlight adversaries in her field of view while skydiving, making this ultimate useful for locating opposing teams.

Wraith is the best offensive legend.

Wraith is Apex Legends' most powerful offensive Legend once again. Due to her very helpful tactical and ultimate abilities, Wraith has always been a meta character.

In recent seasons, she has been held back by changes to her hitbox and Low Profile. Wraith is back on top now that the programmers have finally chosen to remove Low Profile from the game.

In the battle royale, Wraith's ability to slip in and out of fights with her tactical, Into the Void, is highly beneficial, boosting her survival as a teammate. Furthermore, Dimensional Rift is one of the finest late-game rotation tools, allowing her and the squad to safely advance to superior positions.

Loba, the Best Support Legend

Loba has had a difficult time since her debut in Season 5, with her tactical, Burgler's Best Friend, failing to be as effective as it should be. Loba, the support Legend, has gone through a lot of changes in the past, largely for the better, and she's in the greatest shape she's ever been in this season.

Her tactical is much better across all maps now, and it works as it should without canceling at random. The time it takes her to enter the tactical and exit the tactical when she lands has been substantially decreased, allowing her to be much more mobile than before.

Finally, the ability to give the squad with limitless loot, most notably consumables, ammunition, and whatever else players want, is advantageous since it ensures that you will receive precisely what you require every game, increasing your chances of success.

Gibraltar's Best Defensive Legend

Gibraltar is a Legend who has been at the top of tier rankings since the game's inception, serving as a mainstay for nearly every ALGS squad. Gibraltar is the game's most powerful defensive character, with all of his skills assisting the team on defense as well as the capacity to be employed offensively.

His Dome of Protection is perhaps his most essential piece of equipment, since it allows the squad to push up or defend themselves from a push. What makes it more more helpful is Gibraltar's ability to revive allies faster while within the dome.

Defensive Bombardment, Gibraltar's ultimate, is also useful at halting an enemy's advance while simultaneously being aggressive, causing massive damage to anybody trapped inside it. His passive is extremely useful for fighting foes, particularly in 1v1 scenarios, since his Gun Shield provides additional health.
